Challenge:

In a fast-fashion store front (i.e. Nordstrom Rack), typically, the customers will take multiple articles of clothing into the fitting-rooms, then decide not to purchase. Fitting Room Associates are then overwhelmed by the constant flow of unpurchased garments, which quickly accumulate into large, unmanageable piles.

Each item must be rehung, sorted by department, size, and style, and returned to the sales floor promptly to maintain store organization and maximize selling opportunities. The volume and pace make this task physically demanding and time-consuming, often pulling staff away from assisting customers or maintaining fitting-room cleanliness.
